The government plans to table amendments to the Road Transport Act 1987 at the Dewan Rakyat sitting in October towards combating illegal racing and mat rempit activities.

The Cabinet has approved the Transport Ministry's proposal to amend the Road Transport Act 1987 (Act 333) to provide better services to the public and ensure the safety of road users.
